Meet Jules
An unexpected road
I’m Julie or Jules, owner and creator of Salvaged Jules Fine Finishing & Design. I moved to central Ohio twenty five years ago to attend Ohio State University. After immediately falling in love with Columbus, I have enjoyed being part of its growth and watching the city flourish and evolve.
My journey to refinishing cabinets started with upcycling and refinishing furniture for fun, and it soon grew into a business in 2016. While I did not set out to be a Professional Refinisher, my path led me here, and I absolutely love what I do! I have such a passion for helping people transform their spaces into something they love.
A Unique Perspective
My degree in fashion merchandising serves me well in coordinating colors, textures, textiles, patterns, and light, all of which are important for refinishing and design. In 2020, I added cabinet refacing to the services I offer. In 2021, I began offering design services where I assist clients in choosing not only their cabinet colors but also wall colors, countertops, backsplashes, hardware, flooring, and lighting.
As my small business continues to grow, I am fortunate to have the partnership of industry professionals who lends their expert assistance with countertops, lighting, tile, carpentry and trim work. My commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures that your vision comes to life in every project I undertake. Whether it’s a small update or a complete transformation, I are here to guide you every step of the way, making the process enjoyable and stress-free.
